Riders will leave from Revere at noon and wind through the North Shore, ultimately ending the rally at Suffolk Downs in Boston at 2 p.m. The motorcycles are lead by this year’s four honorees in a day that seeks to raise awareness about the continuing need to support our heroes and ensure their high quality of life.
Firefighters in Melrose and Wakefield will hoist a American flag on their ladders, welcoming the honorees at the shared border. And all along the route in Saugus, veterans and supporters have again pledged to support the ride with waving flags and well wishes.
We ask that residents in all three communities ride in the event, attend the closing ceremonies or help line the streets in support of the mission. Those who cannot take part in the day are encouraged to make a donation on the event’s Web site.
